Adopt a Soldier Shopping List

 

 

 

Condiments:  pepper, ketchup, mustard, mayo, crushed red pepper, taco sauce (The small packets that you get in take out food.  We can provide if you do not have)   1 tablet (5x7) of paper - or whatever we have that will fit
         
1 package of crackers (individual pack of 6:  peanut butter, cheese filled, etc.)   5 - 8 envelopes
         
1 package of microwave popcorn   4 ink pens
         

1 package of pop tarts or oatmeal

   4 AA batteries
         
Jerky stick  

1 puzzle book
         
Package of cookies (individual size)   1 travel package of kleenex
         
2 packages of hot chocolate   1 .5 oz bottle of eye wash
         
4 or 5 drink sticks   4 Razors
         
Hard candy (no chocolate)   2 oz. bottle hand sanitizer
         
2 travel size shampoo   2 toothbrushes
         
Pair of tube socks - white or gray   2 travel size tubes of toothpaste
         
2 face masks (paper painter type)  

1 travel size package of q-tips
         

1 package of 50-80 baby wipes

   1 deodorant (roll-on only)
         

2 rolls of toilet paper

   1 travel size mouthwash
         
1-2 hand warmer packets (like hunters use)   1 comb or brush
         
1 dental floss   Include $20 check, money order or cash for postage for each soldier you "adopt"!
         
         
Optional:  Hand-held game, DVD or CD   Optional:  Letter or card explaining that you've "adopted" this soldier and would like to keep in touch.  This will be added to the top of your box so your soldier is sure to see it!
         

 

 

 

In each box, Oklahoma Chapter One will include a American flag bandana and cards and letters from Oklahomans.

 

We will also send a deck of playing cards and other items we have.  We stuff the boxes as full as we can possibly get them.  Call 918.906.2012 if you have questions!
