Thank you for the care package that my office received.  Everyone was very happy to receive such a nice surprise and all the great things inside.  We have hung the American Flag proudly in our office as well.

Blue Star Mothers of America,
On behalf of my shipmates and I, we would like to THANK YOU with the deepest gratitude from the bottom of our hearts with sugar on top for all the packages sent to us!!!  When I received all those packages, it was like Christmas in March.  I could not believe how many packages I received.  And we were like little kids in the candy shop sorting through all the wonderful items in the care packages, and please believe all items where put to great use; as well as boosted our morale.  Again, THANKS for the packages packed with LOTS and LOTS of LOVE and GOD BLESS EACH and EVERY ONE of YOU in Blue Star Mothers!  It is nice to know that we have support and people back home who care about the troops fighting to keep your country the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!!!

Warmly,

~HM3 Jones and The Gang!

Some of you might know my mother, Ruthie Lohman; she is in the Owasso chapter.  I am SK3 (SCW) Lohman stationed in Fallujah, Iraq.  I just wanted to tell everyone thank you all for everything that you are doing back on the home front.  We really enjoy each little thing that we get.  We do this for you and America.

A man walks his post,
Watching every movement in sight.
Dressed in full battle gear,
And holding his weapon tight.
With his eyelids heavy,
And his body weak.
He continues to press on
With very little sleep.
He never takes his focus,
Off of the job that lies ahead.
"Others lives are in my hands,
I can sleep when I am dead."

This is the attitude of every American soldier, sailor, marine and airman and it should be for every American. Once again... thank you!

Thank you so much for the freedom box.  I appreciated all of the things in it, especially the phone cards so I can call home.  Everything will come in handy here.  Thank you again, it's nice to have people at home who care about us over here.

Your love box has brought a gleam of light to an otherwise dark holiday season.  You have shown love and compassion to so many soldiers throughout Iraq.  I am a master sergeant with the 111th.Eng.Bde from W.VA., I wanted to thank you all for the support and effort you have shown for all of us.  May God bless and keep you all the days of your lives.  From all of us at the 111th Engineers, I thank you so very much.

I received a box from you yesterday.  It was totally unexpected, but greatly appreciated.  I'm still unsure how you got my name & address, but I'm not complaining.  The goodies & items have been made available to all 34 of the soldiers in the detachment and I can truly say "Thank You" from all of us.  Keep up the good work!

Hello and Merry Christmas!  I just wanted to thank you for a care package I just received from your organization -- just in time for the Christmas season.  The items are much appreciated; even more appreciated is the knowledge of your thoughts and prayers for us over here.  Thank you so much for that.  It is an honor to represent you, even during a hard tour in Iraq.  May God bless all of you and your families and our country this Christmas.  Thank you again

My name is SPC Amanda Reinwald and I am now on my second tour in Iraq.  I just wanted to thank you for your kindness and prayers.  It is very exciting to know that back at home, Americans are supporting the soldiers.  We got your package and we are very grateful. I know that you all have families and lives of your own.  But, it takes exceptional people like your selves to take time out of busy schedules to send packages to us.  I just wanted to that you for thinking of us and you are the reason we fight.  Once again thank you so much.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the boxes of goodies.  Receiving an unexpected something in the mail completely changes your day, as well a reminder that folks back home -DO- care, no matter what the media says.
Thanks again!

I served with Lcpl Thomas Blair in Iraq during OIF I.  I would like to send my deepest regrets to his family. Blair was a great friend and we became close on the ship over.  I think about him often and I will NEVER forget!  Semper Fi Blair we miss you.

Thank you very much cause in some cases a lot of soldiers don't get to any type of packages and for you all to take out time of your busy day to make a care package for us just shoes how much we are respected and love at home even when the war makes it seem like no one cares but we all know you do.

November 21, 2005

Hello Blue Star Mothers of America,
Hi my name is Sgt. Bowyer, stationed here at Camp Adder, Iraq. Wanted to thank you all so much for the nice care package you all put together; sent to me. It means so much to know that we are loved & supported back home; its people like you guys that make this endeavor worth it. I have been deployed now for over a year & plan on extending for another tour because I believe we are making a difference. I have seen the news from back home showing that support is dwindling for us being here. It is disheartening because we see very clearly what all has been accomplished first hand & most of us want to complete the mission so that we won't have to come back over ever again. I was here in Desert Storm & wished then that we would have taken out the Baath party & Saddam because I knew we would be right back over here if we didn't and here we are today. Thanks to all the businesses who donated towards the care packages. I will be sure to share with my buddies who don't get much mail. The Hooters magazine was a nice touch! Sure miss seeing the pretty American girls back home. I want to commend you all on a nice, well put together web site. It looks to be kept up; I have added you to my favorites. I will try to send you all some pictures for your photo gallery. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU & may God bless you all.

Thank you for the freedom box you supplied to my son and all the men of the 1st of the 158 last week. He was thrilled and amazed of the neat stuff you put in his box. My son and all my kids live in Oklahoma but I live in Arkansas. We do not have a Blue Star group here. Thank you so much for what you have done.
